My name is Florian Maisch and I’m currently working as a manager in the audit & advisory department of Baker Tilly Germany – Financial Services. As my LinkedIn profile says, I am an entrepreneurial auditor who always tries to work pragmatically with my clients. As an auditor, I face the challenges of the increasingly complex business environment in the financial industry. I have been able to build my expertise in banking and asset management, where there is a constant need for new, simple, and straightforward solutions. Especially in times of COVID-19, it was a big challenge to keep the team busy remotely and to give younger colleagues appropriate tasks in order to neither overwhelm nor underchallenge them.
